A lot can be said about achieving success, fulfillment, joy, great health, prosperity and abundance in ones life; which at its very core is what this blog is all about. However, fundamental to achieving truly great wealth, health and success in all areas of your life, you must know one thing and that I can sum up in the Latin phrase....
Nosce te ipsum - Know thyself
You must know yourself. In all of humanity there lies a deep hunger - a thirst if you will after the knowledge of a buried life. I love Mathew Arnolds take on it.
"But often, in the world's most crowded streets,
But often, in the din of strife,
There rises an unspeakable desire
After the knowledge of our buried life:
A thirst to spend our fire and restless force
In tracking our true, original course;
A longing to inquire
Into the mystery of this heart which beats
So wild, so deep in us - to know
Whence our lives come and where they go.

Hence, I ask the question again; just who or what are you anyway? To answer this question, we go to what philosophers, spiritual teachers, and metaphysicians have said for years dependent upon your worldview- man is a highly complex machine, a sleeping god, a person made in the image of God and/or a naked ape. Personally, I opt out of the naked ape category.
The essence of which you really are, the real you is invisible yet very real. What I am referring to is your 'Spirit'. For thousand of years, humanity has acknowledged that they have a spirit. This aspect of yourself, which is non-material, is an animating force of higher intelligence connected to a transcendent, supreme, infinite and intelligence (God) - which is the source of infinite possibilities. If this is true, then we must examine what is spirit or God - what I mean by this is- what are the characteristics attributed to God.
God is a creative force - the matrix of all matter
God is the cause and effect of himself
God is self existent - no beginning no end, the one prime existent, the one prime reality, the source of all other reality
God is infinite - beyond scope, beyond measure, the be-all and end-all of existence
God is transcendent - beyond our world, beyond mere mortals, otherly
God is immanent - God is present in all creation - the creative force permeates, penetrates and fills all of creation, the entire universe and cosmos; simply, God is everywhere
God is omniscient - God is all knowing, the ultimate source of all knowledge and all intelligence
God is abundance - limitless , inexhaustible and boundless
Ok, I know that you did come here for a lesson in theology or spirituality. But can you really separate the two? Then knowing and connecting with the spiritual aspect of yourself is the key to unlocking Wealth Health & Success into all areas of your life.
If you can believe with me - that everything on earth is made from one original life giving force - source - God - and all things proceed from this source - invisible creative force/energy - God. Now if God's - the invisible creative source - creative power permeates all things in existence and this source IS inexhaustible - without end - unlimited abundance, from which new forms of life are constantly being made. This means that everything you see on the planet and in the Universe and Cosmos is made by and through the creative force - source - God.
I want to be absolutely clear that there is no limit or lack in the supply of God - the creative force - the source of everything in existence.
I know that I may be sounding repetitive, but it is absolutely essential that you understand this.
I love the scripture in the ancient spiritual text of the Bible - In Him, I live move and have my being - wow how cool is that - that power that created the universe; which permeates and fills the spaces in, through, and between the forms of the visible universe straight down to the smallest unit of matter in the universe (Particles) more on that later....that very creative life force - energy - source - is in me - permeates me - fills me - is me - ARE YOU GETTING IT NOW.....
I don't know if I mentioned it early, but the Torah - that ancient spiritual text states and I am paraphrasing here - God created man - breathed His breath - His life force - His energy - source - His essence - His spirit- His characteristics - into man and man became a living being....WOW....IS THE PICTURE BECOMING CLEARER NOW.....
The best example I can give regarding this is - If you can picture the ocean with all its raw power and force now if you take a glass and dip it into the ocean - is not what is in the glass part of the ocean and does not what is in the glass possess all the same characteristics and properties of the ocean but to a lesser degree in terms of power and raw force?
Let's recap: these are the fundamental principles:
Man has a spirit - he is not merely a human being having the occasional spiritual experience - he is a spirit having human experiences. Man is made in the image of God. Man became a living being upon receiving the breath of God - His breath-His essence-His energy-His Life Force-essentially His characteristics. Man has transcendence over his environment, the cosmos in which we are placed and can act significantly to change the course of both human and cosmic events - in short the cosmic system is open to reordering by human beings. Man is creative and has creative power - the ability to imagine/create new things. Man is intelligent - possesses the capacity for reason and knowledge.
So then, I assert, if you and I are made in the image of God, possess a spirit, which in turn has all the characteristics and attributes of God to a lesser degree. Then Wealth Health & Success are inherent in our very nature - in our very beings. In chapter one of the Science of Getting Rich, Wallace D. Wattles states, " Whatever may be said in praise of poverty, the fact remains that it is not possible to live a really complete or successful life unless one is rich...No man can rise to his greatest possible height in talent or soul development unless he has plenty of money; for to unfold the soul and to development talent he must have many things to use, and he cannot have these things unless he has money to buy them with".
Now whether you agree with the above statement or not, you must admit there is a ring of truth to it.
Bob Proctor states "Material wealth is a normal and natural state for you to live in".
You have deep reservoirs of greatness, richness, and pure potentiality lying dormant within you. The awakening to who you really are and the development of those vast resources within you will cause the manifestation of Wealth Health & Success in all areas of your life.
I ask this question, who are you? Who do you want to be? Where do you want to be?
